Skoda has plans to launch its globally popular compact SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) model, Skoda Yeti for the Indian market. It is expected that the company will launch this compact SUV in Indian market in the month of June 2010. Skoda Yeti will be launched in mid SUV segment with a price band of Rs 12 to 15 lacs. The major competitors for this new car in Indian markets will be Mahindra Scorpio, Tata Safari and Mahindra Bolero. So Skoda is planning to launch Skoda Yeti with highly competitive price tag to compete other cars of this segment.
